A 300 page novel takes Mr. Saputo about eleven (11) hours to record and the cost is $50.00 per hour or $550.00. If you'd like to have studio time and record your own audio, the rate is $70.00 per hour, due to the time in studio and equipment, etc. __________ Mr. Saputo, born in Italy, was raised in Northern Virginia. He started playing music at age 5. By age 8, he was playing piano, guitar, drums, and bass. Singing came later at age 16. Tom began writing and recording music as a teenager. He was fascinated by small tape recorders and mesmerized by records. Musical instruments and tape recorders were coveted possessions. He started performing in local bands and playing hits of the 60's at age 8 . Teen dances and outside parties is where it all started. Tom considers his first professional job at a Jolly Ox in Alexandria Virginia June of 1972. He then (with his brother John and best friend Bobby) started circulating restaurants at the time. The Top of the Town, the Mediterranean East to name a few. The next decades were full of countless gigs, private parties, and recording sessions. And, that is not all, Tom has played with some famous folks as well, including Joan Jett, Lloyd Price, Miki Howard, Sony recording artist Rory, and Irving Berlin's granddaughter Mary Ellin Lerner. He has produced countless CD recordings for many musicians and produces videos to promote their recordings. He currently hosts exciting open mics in the Washington DC metro area as well as recording, rehearsing,and coaching talented singers in the local area and can produce flyers, photo editing and video creation, voice overs, and original music scores.
